Kamal is an accomplished Engineering & Management professional having more than 30 years of experience with Companies of Global & National repute like – JK Synthetics, Tata Liebert, HCL Nokia, Samsung India, Spice Mobiles, Lava Mobiles, Panasonic India & Karbonn Mobiles etc. with Business interests in Telecommunication, Office Automation, Power Conditioning & textiles etc. He carries distinguished experience in Customer Service and has clear understanding of objectives like - Customer Satisfaction, Internal processes, Business Planning, KRAs, KPIs, Team building & management and close coordination with overseas partners for technical support & parts supplies etc. Kamal has worked around Core Competencies like - Team Building, Management of Nationwide Service Network, Business & Manpower Planning, Policy, Processes & Systems, Technical knowhow, Training Management & Parts Management, Strategic tie ups & support, Support to Product Development & Marketing besides Managing Operational Efficiency & Cost of Service.
Kamal has been a member of Board of Studies at Deptt. of Electrical Engineering, HBTI (now HBTU) Kanpur. His article - “Customer Services – A Perspective” in an Industry In-house magazine has been widely appreciated. He has actively participated in various training & workshops like - SIX SIGMA, LATERAL THINKING, QUALITY EDUCATION SYSTEMS, TOTAL QUALITY PROGRAM for Service Suppliers, HOW TO ENHANCE YOUR PERSONALITY, COMMUNICATE WITH CONFIDENCE & MAKE POWERFUL PRESENTATION, FORUM FOR BETTER LIVING and COMMUNICATION SKILLS etc. To contribute his bit into the development of youth in the society, He is currently focusing on the SKILL DEVELOPMENT & EMPLOYABILITY.



Kunal Ahooja

Kunal Ahooja brings with him in-depth knowledge and experience of the cellular industry. With over 30 years of experience Kunal has held various senior positions across multinational companies belonging to the telecom and office automation industry. As Head of Sales at Nokia India Limited and subsequently as Country Head Telecom at Samsung India Electronics Limited, Kunal has been instrumental in establishing a robust distribution network for these companies. He has been actively involved in the development and evolution of Handset Business in India right from the launch of Cellular Services in 1995. He, also, has a 12 year experience of working with Modi Xerox Limited, as Head of Operations in various locations across India.

As CEO of the S Mobility Limited for the last 7 years, Kunal has been primarily responsible for establishing and building SPICE as an Indian mobile phone brand with a range of customized phones offering prestige solutions for different market / consumer segments. Also, in building a Pan India distribution and support infrastructure that has the bandwidth to leverage the huge potential that exists in India. After successfully establishing the Spice brand in India, Kunal has also focused on developing the business in international markets and has already launched the Spice brand through distributors in Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Kuwait and Nigeria. Extensive experience of 7 years in sourcing for S Mobility and an established network of key relationships within the supply chain Eco system.

Recently, as Global Head Devices S I2I Ltd. based out of Singapore, Kunal led the establishment of the Global Innovation Centre for a period of six months.

Support & Build an effective Chindia organization with the close cooperation of all Eco system partners (ODM/Vendors, MTK, Application developers, Google, Facebook etc.) in Singapore.

A Qualified Chartered Accountant with 15 years extensive experience in the area of Finance & Accounts and commercial. Rich experience in spearheading entire gamut of accounting & finance operations inclusive of financial planning, coordination with banks, budgeting, accounting systems, audit, taxation, costing. Pivotal in implementing MIS reporting system for effective decision making.Endowed with exemplary communication and relationship management skills. Have been part of the core team that build the Spice brand in India. Was appointed as the CFO of the Selular group after the acquisition by the Spice Group in Indonesia.
Hand on experience of Finance, Fund Management, Taxation, Investor relations and commercial operations. He has been playing the role of a business partner in the business. Has keen understanding of the technology and the products. Has excellent relationship with the vendors and the channel partners.
